The film is about the early years of famed children’s author Astrid Lindgren (Pippi Longstocking) when she experienced something that was a “combination of both miracle and calamity that came to shape her entire life.” A wealthy lawyer, Melvin Allen (Larry Flash Jenkins) meets and marries a much younger wayward woman off the streets Nina (Cece Peniston) but married life is not lasting long when he catches her in bed with his best friend. He files for divorce but she doesn't sign divorce degree after Melvin meets another woman, Grace (Kim Yarbrough) to marry until God steps in. A group of young men dare a classmate to reach the porch of a legendary old house, said to be haunted by the thirteen victims of a family massacre. In hopes of making a viral video they arm him with a video camera to prove he was there or to capture him fleeing in terror before even reaching the house, as others have. When he doesn't return, the guys must go in to get him. Inside they discover the truth about the house, the fate of their friend and their own fate as well. "Roy is the nice guy who finishes last. Sick of his current situation, he accepts an invitation to have Christmas dinner with the beautiful and strangely alluring Emilia. Once at dinner, Roy realizes that Emilia and her oddball brother (Edward) are not what they seem." Inspired by Brexit and Donald Trump, Last Village on the Right is a delightfully tongue-in-cheek comedy-horror, following a group of American film makers on the way to the Cannes film market to sell a horror film, when they get lost and find themselves in a stunning small mountain town in the South of France, where a strange couple, Adolphi and his wife Kiki, seduce and murder tourists. Last Village on the Right will be a universally enjoyable, terrifyingly hilarious romp through the Pyrenees, which will have audiences rolling in the aisles.
